What the app does

The app combines authorized camera live views, saved activity images and brief event previews in a private Home Assistant dashboard. It also displays an indication when the doorbell is pressed.

Why Google access is requested

With the camera owner’s consent, the Google Smart Device Management API supplies information about the devices shared with this installation, camera streams, doorbell and activity events, and available event media. Google Cloud Pub/Sub delivers device events to Home Assistant.

These permissions support the owner’s private camera dashboard. This installation is for personal use and is not a public camera-viewing service.

This public information page contains no camera feeds or recordings. Viewing the dashboard requires authorization to the separate private Home Assistant installation.
